Vacancies Experience yacht designer required RSD is currently seeking an experienced designer with a strong naval architectural and technical background. The ideal candidate will have no less than 15 years experience with a reputable company and will have a full understanding of all aspects of technical design applicable to the exterior of yachts of all sizes. A sound knowledge and understanding of MCA and SOLAS regulations is also required. The ability to lead by example within a small design team, and devise and manage internal design programs is essential, together with the drive necessary to be an important component of a fast developing, dynamic studio. Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D software programs is a prerequisite, with hand sketching ability a bonus. The position is full-time with long term prospects.
