Once the finished design package for the interior scheme is put into production by the fit-out contractor or the shipyard, RSD carries out regular site visits to design-manage this process. During this stage we check that the integrity of the design is maintained ensuring that a high level of finish and craftsmanship is achieved. Regular design meetings are attended to offer further design support to the shipyard, to monitor any variation orders that may arise and assist in enabling the project to be completed on time and on budget. Design meeting notes are issued from each meeting to keep our clients fully up-to-date with the progress of their project. To complete the service RSD is able to attend sea trails and produce the document of homologation for hand-over once manufacture is complete.
